Privacy Policy

Last updated September 15, 2026

This page says what flumeandfield.com collects, what it does not, and how to have your information removed. It is written in plain language on purpose.

Who we are

Flume & Field is a consulting studio based in Los Angeles, California. For any question about this policy, or about information we hold, email hello@flumeandfield.com.

What we collect

When you visit the site. We use Google Analytics to see how people find and use this site: which pages get read, roughly where visitors come from, and whether someone clicked to book a call. It sets small files called cookies in your browser to do that.

We do not use Google Analytics for advertising. We run no ad pixels from Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok or anyone else, and no session recording or heatmap tools.

When you fill in the Brand Fit Check. That form is hosted by Tally. What you type into it comes to us, and Tally stores it on our behalf.

When you book a call. Scheduling runs through Calendly. Your name, email and the time you pick go to Calendly and then to us.

When you email us. Our mail runs on Zoho Mail. Your message and address sit in that mailbox.

We do not collect payment information through this site.

Cookies, specifically

The site sets two Google Analytics cookies, _ga and _ga_3SY35DXKNC. They hold a random identifier, not your name, and they expire after about two years unless you clear them sooner.

The Brand Fit Check is embedded from Tally, so Tally may set its own cookies when that part of the page loads.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To opt out of Google Analytics everywhere, not just here, Google publishes a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Who else sees your information

Only the services we use to run the business: Google Analytics, Tally, Calendly and Zoho Mail. Each holds the piece described above and nothing more.

We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or trade mailing lists.

If you become a client, anything you share with us in that work is covered by our client confidentiality commitment, which is stricter than this policy.

How long we keep it

Google Analytics event data expires after two months, the shortest window Google offers. Form responses and emails we keep as long as they are useful to the conversation they belong to. If you want yours deleted, ask.

Your choices

Email hello@flumeandfield.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We stop any new use the day you tell us, and remove it from anything we control within five business days.

If you are in California

California residents have the right to know what personal information a business collects and to ask for it to be deleted. Flume & Field is a small studio and sits below the revenue and data thresholds that make the California Consumer Privacy Act binding on us. We honor those requests anyway. Use the email above.

If you are outside the United States

This site and the services behind it are hosted in the United States, so browsing here or contacting us means your information is processed there.

Changes

If we add a tool that collects something new, we update this page and change the date at the top.
